Don't rush ahead with construction and purchases! Some tasks won’t refresh after leveling up—for example, if you build a tailor shop early, you’ll still be asked to build one around level 10, and restarting won’t fix it. Tested and confirmed!
Wait until around level 10 to modify roads, as the feature unlocks then.
